CARLSBAD, NM – Carl’s Jr. is nearing opening day at their 502 N Canal St. location, with final construction items being completed this month. Carl’s Jr. will find its new home on Carlsbad’s retail corridor at 502 N. Canal St. near CVS, Albertsons, and Lake Carlsbad Beach Park. Tarrant County, TX – The brand notably recognized for their racy commercials delivering bikini-clad models eating juicy burgers, is coming to Texas in a big way. Prestige Development Group (PDG, Inc.) has partnered with CKE, the parent company of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s, to bring the series of restaurants boasting their sexy, All-American branding to the Dallas/Fort Worth MSA. With plans to develop over 20 new Carl’s Jr. stores, PDG, Inc. is projected to break ground in the first quarter of 2017 in North Tarrant County.
The new “Contemporary Star” design quick service restaurant (QSR) will be the first Carl’s Jr. PDG, Inc. has built in North Texas, although the company has worked with Carl’s Jr. since 2011. The store will bring more than 50 new jobs to respective communities, and many, many burgers to its highly hyped customer base.
The Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington area was ranked fourth in restaurant growth between 2014 and 2015 according to the NPD Group, Inc. Fall 2015 recount study. The overwhelming growth in chains throughout this area bode well for the success of new projects, and go hand-in-hand with the population growth in the metro area. According to the United States Census Bureau, the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metro areas added about 145,000 residents between July 1, 2014 and July 1, 2015. The main population growth is occurring within Tarrant, Dallas, Collin, and Denton counties.

Carl’s Jr. continues to be a favorite quick service dining option to the brand’s target audience, “hungry, young guys” and will make a great new addition to the Tarrant County market.

Breaking Ground on Carl’s Jr.

HOBBS, NM– Prestige Development Group (PDG, Inc.) is breaking ground at the end of January on the future site of Carl’s Jr. Construction on the 2,430-square-foot Quick Service Restaurant will begin shortly after the land is developed at 1014 W. Harvey Blvd. This site is a Green Burrito location and will be bringing more than 50 new jobs to the community. Details to follow as to where the public can begin to submit resumes for positions.
