Tarrant County, TX – The brand notably recognized for their racy commercials delivering bikini-clad models eating juicy burgers, is coming to Texas in a big way. Prestige Development Group (PDG, Inc.) has partnered with CKE, the parent company of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s, to bring the series of restaurants boasting their sexy, All-American branding to the Dallas/Fort Worth MSA. With plans to develop over 20 new Carl’s Jr. stores, PDG, Inc. is projected to break ground in the first quarter of 2017 in North Tarrant County.
The new “Contemporary Star” design quick service restaurant (QSR) will be the first Carl’s Jr. PDG, Inc. has built in North Texas, although the company has worked with Carl’s Jr. since 2011. The store will bring more than 50 new jobs to respective communities, and many, many burgers to its highly hyped customer base.
The Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington area was ranked fourth in restaurant growth between 2014 and 2015 according to the NPD Group, Inc. Fall 2015 recount study. The overwhelming growth in chains throughout this area bode well for the success of new projects, and go hand-in-hand with the population growth in the metro area. According to the United States Census Bureau, the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metro areas added about 145,000 residents between July 1, 2014 and July 1, 2015. The main population growth is occurring within Tarrant, Dallas, Collin, and Denton counties.
Prestige Development Group looks forward to working with local municipalities and general contractors to provide a final product typical of PDG, Inc. standards. PDG, Inc. will be pleased to develop something that both the tenant and the community will be proud to have. Each of the 2,430-square-foot stores will be designed according to the newest Carl’s Jr. concept and will include murals depicting the history of the community specific to each location.
As of March 2016, CKE has a total of 3,664 franchised or company-operated restaurants in 44 states and 38 foreign countries and U.S. territories. The Dallas/Fort Worth MSA is currently home to 12 Carl’s Jr. restaurants. Carl’s Jr. continues to be a favorite quick service dining option to the brand’s target audience, “hungry, young guys” and will make a great new addition to the Tarrant County market.
Prestige Development Group is a high volume retail developer specializing in restaurant, retail, and medical properties nationwide. PDG, Inc. also offers great opportunities to Franchisee based products for many national chains, and looks to continue prospering business ventures in all regions.

This past Friday we held an open house reception celebrating the development of MountainView Regional Medical Center Outpatient Plaza. Outpatient Plaza, the newest addition to the MountainView Regional Medical Center Medical campus is located at the intersection of two of the busiest roads in Las Cruces, Roadrunner and Lohman. The two-story, 22,000 square foot medical development is equipped to house several medical occupations to include a hyperbaric chamber, oxygen therapy, sleep therapy, infusion therapy, ultrasounds, and various labs and exam rooms.
We’re proud to say that this development indicates a healthy growth in the medical sector; we hope MountainView continues to change the medical landscape furthering economic growth throughout Las Cruces. We had a great turnout with our friends from MountainView, Jaynes Corporation, the Chamber and MVEDA.
Thank you so much for making it out, friends!
The center will be open to the public later this autumn.
