The 7,400-square-foot Phoenix-area based Celtic-themed sports bar comes equipped with all the sights and sounds one might expect from a fast-growing national chain, and then some. With over 50 flat screen televisions for the ultimate sports viewing experience, a full-bar to include 36 beers on draught and over 12 different brands of Whiskey, and an outdoor patio to dine delicious eats al fresco, Tilted Kilt will surely provide something to satisfy everyone’s tastes—sports fans, foodies, and drink connoisseurs alike.

The decorative featured full-size suit of armor will perhaps be the most covered-up thing seen at a Tilted Kilt any given night as the World Famous Tilted Kilt Girls™ sport tartan bras and tartan kilts.

“By bringing Tilted Kilt to El Paso, we have created nearly 200 local jobs for the community. Also, the pub design we have will be the first one like it in the nation. It is a brand new prototype with all new custom designed booths, flooring, costumes, drink menu, etc. It is a very big and exciting thing to bring the brand to El Paso as the Tilted Kilt brand is growing rapidly, in fact, we are expanding into Spain and North Korea soon, so the brand will be international.” Says April Cano-Medina, Casting and Marketing Director for the El Paso Tilted Kilt Location.

“I am very excited to see the success of the Pub take off, we have worked very hard on this property to make sure the delivery and design is perfect,” commented Michael Dixson, CEO of PDG, Inc. This is the first Tilted Kilt PDG, Inc has developed but Dixson says that it certainly won’t be the last. There has been some talk of a possible second El Paso location on the West Side along with immediate plans in several West Texas markets and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

PDG, Inc. has developed the first Tilted kilt prototype in the history of the franchise. CEO Michael Dixson and his team worked with Tilted Kilt corporate for 6 months to create this prototype, which is the first and only one like it, nationwide. The pub design is not the only first, and trend-setting thing from the brand—El Paso is the first Tilted Kilt to have the newly designed Kilt Girl costumes and signature drink menu. “This pub is truly cutting edge” commented CEO Michael Dixson.

7 IHOPs coming to Dayton-Springfield area

By Mark Fisher / Staff Writer

The company developing local IHOP restaurants says it intends to open seven locations in the Dayton-Springfield area over the next few years, starting with its first in Beavercreek this summer.

“There is a huge potential in this market,” Michael Dixson, CEO of Prestige Development Group said in a release.

Plans call for developing a new IHOP location every eight months on average until reaching seven restaurants.

A week ago, Beavercreek City Council approved plans for the first of the chain’s re-entry into the Dayton-area market, 5,000-square-foot IHOP that will be located near Target in the 2400 block of North Fairfield Commons Road, across from the Mall at Fairfield Commons. It is scheduled to open “later this summer,” Prestige Development officials said.

Jamila Hull, a spokeswoman for Prestige Development, said the company chose Beavercreek for the initial re-entry into the Dayton-area market because of its “great retail presence.”

Each restaurant, including the Beavercreek location, will create as many as 80 jobs, Prestige Development officials said.

Las Cruces, New Mexico-based Prestige Development Group is a nationwide developer specializing in restaurant, retail, and medical properties.

IHOP operates multiple restaurants in the Columbus and Cincinnati areas. But the closest IHOPs to Dayton are in West Chester, Mason and Richmond, Ind. The Dayton area had IHOP locations in the 1970s and 1980s, including one near Ohio 725 and Ohio 741 near the Dayton Mall and one on Shiloh Springs Road near the former Salem Mall, but those restaurants closed about 25 years ago.
